40 tickets have been reserved for u3a members and their guests for the matinee performance of As You Like It on Thursday 8 October 2026 at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford.

Tickets for the theatre (stalls) are £40, and the coach fare to Stratford is £22.50, making a total cost of £62.50. There will also be nine coach-only places available at £22.50.

Tony Award-winning Jonathan Groff makes his RSC debut as Rosalind in Shakespeare’s most warm-hearted comedy, where love is love—no matter where it falls.

Banished from the court of Duke Frederick, Rosalind flees to the Forest of Arden with her loyal cousin Celia in search of her exiled father. Disguised as a young man, Ganymede, she soon encounters Orlando, who has also escaped to the forest. Promising to cure his lovesickness, Rosalind (as Ganymede) encourages Orlando to woo “him”—and so the playful complications begin!

Directed by Daniel Evans, this production features an all-male cast, including Fisayo Akinade as Celia, at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Travel Details

The Bakers Dolphin coach will depart from Locking Road Car Park at 9:00am, with additional pick-up points at:
- Farm Foods
- Esso Garage
- Bus stop on the main road near Iceland Warehouse

The coach will arrive in Stratford at approximately 11:30am for the 1:30pm matinee performance.

The coach will depart Stratford at 5:00pm, returning to Weston-super-Mare at around 7:30pm.
