If you hold a green-edged card your membership is due for renewal on the 1st April 2026.

Membership Fees 2026-27:

Individual - the amount for Individual Membership has been kept at £12 for the year

Reduced rates are applicable for other types of Membership:

Joint -  two members at the same address can join as Joint members at a reduced rate of £10 each a year.

Associate - if you are already a member of another u3a you can join our u3a as an Associate member at a reduced rate of £8 per year.

If you have joined recently and have a ligjt blue edged membership card, this is valid until March 2027 and you do not need to renew now.

Renew and Pay Online through the Members Portal

If you have not created a password for your membership account use this link Register for a membership account to set one up.

Already signed up - renew via the Members Portal using a credit/debit card or PayPal account.

After joining you will receive an email from the Weston-super-Mare u3a PayPal account confirming that your payment has been processed successfully.

You will also receive an email from Weston-super-Mare u3a with your membership card attached. You may be asked to show it at meetings – you can either show the card on your smartphone or print a copy. If this email does not come within a few minutes, let us know.

You will not automatically receive a physical card, if you would like one, either collect one from the Membership Desk at a Coffee Morning or send a SAE to the to: Membership Secretary (Card), 16 Coombe Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 2QP

Pay by Bank Transfer

Please transfer the appropriate fee into the following account:

Reference: the initial of your first name followed by your u3a number,
e.g. Fred Tester will put "F6998"
(If you are paying for 2 members then follow your initial and number with the initial and membership number of the 2nd member, e.g. if Fred Tester is renewing his and Mary Tester's joint membership Fred will put "F6998 M6999")

Your membership number is on your membership card and can be found on all weekly news updates sent via Beacon.

If paying by bank transfer it would help to track down your payment if you emailed the Membership Secretary to confirm you have made a payment. There is no need to do this if you have renewed through the Members Portal.

You will only receive a physical card if you add an additional donation of £1.00 to your membership fee to cover post and packing. Alternatively you can collect a card from the Membership Desk at a Coffee Morning.

Pay at a Coffee Morning

We have started processing membership renewals during the weekly Tuesday coffee mornings.  Please arrive before 11.00am to allow us time to cash up before the end of the session. You can pay by Credit/Debit Card, cheques and cash are acceptable.

Pay by Post

Send a cheque with your membership number(s) for the appropriate fee made payable to “WESTON-SUPER-MARE U3A” to:

Please ensure that you enclose a stamped addressed envelope to receive your membership card by return.

Pay through Group Leaders

Although we are already open for renewals, from the first week of April some Group Leaders will be willing to collect your subscriptions from you at one of your regular meetings. They will then issue you with your new cards at a subsequent meeting. Please check with your Group Leader.
