The Group Leader, Richard writes...
I have been involved with Meditation for most of my adult life becoming an advanced instructor. Breath Manipulation, Mantra, Trataka and Mandala Meditation, chanting and other walking and socialising techniques, will be prescribed and explained in detail during the classes.
I was fortunate to study for 17 years under the guidance of an Indian Avatar/Master.
Be aware this is full on and will be challenging for some, delving as we will be into the depth and nature of our inner being as we strive to unfold our super-conscious/divine self.
For this reason it is best suited to truth seekers and those with a yearning to really know and become themselves on the deepest level ("man know thyself").
However open minded novices, willing to challenge opinions held that may have shackled them to unproductive habitual action, may also benefit.
Having said all that, you alone are and will remain the Captain of your ship! You may find that your understanding of life itself/others you interact with, your beliefs and values are over time somewhat enhanced.
Qualities of Love, Compassion, Truth and Patience usually improve as will our relationship with one another.
The practices may be performed seated (reasonably upright) - cross legged on the floor or in the lotus position, if you have the dexterity that is. which I confess I do not!
These sessions have no religious or other affiliation. However, the values,-truths, teachings and quotes of this world whether Christian or from other Spiritual Masters/Philosophers/Scientist and high thinkers, even atheist and agnostics, will form part of our learning!
Properly prescribed meditation techniques are not a panacea! Though as an aside they have been known to help with stress related disorders. These may be skin issues,-bereavement, loneliness-lack of confidence, medical issues and others.
I look forward to our journey together.
With Kind regards
Namaste (I salute the Divine essence within you)
Richard
