Pauline Cook, the group leader of our Eco Group, has arranged a showing of a film, The People's Emergency Briefing, a new film featuring Chris Packham, several leading climate and nature scientists, a former general and Jennifer Saunders - all being pretty frank about where things are heading and what can be done about it.  The film will be shown at the usual Monthly Lecture venue in the Sovereign Centre on Friday 31st July 2026 2:30PM.

The Group wish to invite all U3A members to come and watch the film. The event is free but please book your place, as the venue capacity is limited. (You can make an optional £2 donation on the day to help cover the costs).

The film lasts just under an hour and there will be time for reflections and discussion afterwards. A number of local MPs and Local Councillors have been invited to attend to watch the film with us and join the discussion.
