Exeter Cathedral's popular Christmas Market is back for 2024, and we have planned a daytrip on Sunday 15th December.
It should be a day out to remember. There is something for everyone to discover, with over a hundred twinkling festive chalets, local gifts and produce, bars, global street food, seasonal entertainment, and free entry into the awesome Exeter Cathedral.
Taking place on Exeter's Cathedral Green, the Cathedral Christmas Market is wonderfully atmospheric, set among a labyrinth of winding paths, festooned with fairy lights and laced with the seasonal sights and smells of festive chalets, showcasing a wide range of local, regional, national and international suppliers, offering crafts and gifts, and seasonal food and drink.
Enjoy delicious global street food, served from pop-up restaurants, cafés and bars, alongside local West Country produce, unique hand-crafted gifts, decorations and much more – all twinkling below the illuminated medieval façade of Exeter Cathedral.
The cost of this day out is £20, to include the coach fare and driver’s gratuity. Entrance to the Market is free. The coach will leave Locking Road Car Park at 10.00am and return from Exeter at 4.30pm (we aim to be back in Weston by 6.30pm). We will pick up at Farm Foods, ESSO Garage and The Food Warehouse X1 Bus Stop.
