Westonbirt Arboretum is the home to 2,500 different species of trees from different parts of the globe and 5 national tree collections. There are 600 acres and 17 miles of hard and grassy paths! The arboretum is split into 3 key areas. The time we plan to go is excellent to enjoy the autumn colours.
It is possible to book mobility scooters and wheelchairs (need to do in advance asap)
There is a café and a shop. The café serves hot food, cakes and drinks, and there are spaces to picnic if you prefer.
A day trip has been arranged for Wednesday, October 23rd. The coach will leave Locking Road Car Park at 09.00, picking up at Farm Foods, Esso Garage and Food Warehouse (main road bus stop) and leave Westonbirt at 4pm .
The cost of the trip to include coach fare, driver’s tip and entrance fee is £32 ( it is £14.40 to go in to the arboretum -high season for them).
You will be informed once the trip is viable, after which no refunds will be given unless a replacement is found.
